Weren't any other country's banks stupid enough to take on some of this crazy debt?
The wild talk of sub prime mortgage debt in the USA seemed to be largely about trailers and the like, in some areas much of it occupied by people from Mexico, some of whom may have no legal right to be in the USA as I understand it.
can we ex[pect Obama to regularise the positions of illegal immigrants in the USA? If he does this may assist the stabilisation of their housing market surely?
